The experienced programmer planning to resign

so i got a situation here, we were a team of 5 for 1 web project in our company but the one that is experienced in our system is planning to resign, the web we had is sobrang gulo ng data structure kasi dati syang application then we convert it into web, naming ng mga table sa database nya is making it to difficult to navigate kasi hindi align yung naming kung anong function nya for example PMG01.. something like this tas diniscover lang yun ng dating programming kung ano mga table and function nya also andami nyang connection and api na pinagkukunan for an item. im still 8 months in the company and i think im the one who gonna lead the project next after the experienced one on the website is resigned. tanong ko lang if okay ba sya for growth? also ayaw ko din na mastuck sa isang project lang i want ibat ibang project
