Beginner looking for a good music production software

hello! as the title states i’m looking for a good software to make beats/songs. I’m most familar with soundcloud and i’ve been using it for the past couple if years just as a hobby thing but eventually I do want to release music. I was wondering what the easiest next software to move onto would be! any advice or help would be greatly appreciated :)
