versatile trail/road shoe?

hi all!

i’m based in nyc where it’s been really snowy and occasionally icy. i would love to get a shoe that has slightly better grip because I’ve been slipping a ton lately, but I’ve been hesitant to buy a winter running shoe because i don’t know how much use i would get out of it. i was thinking about getting a trail running shoe so it would have slightly better traction but ideally would be versatile enough that i could wear it when running in non-winter conditions. does anyone have any recommendations? ideally, I’m looking for an all weather trail running shoe that can work on road. but i don’t know if a shoe like this exists!
