Is it normal for front load washer to shake during spin because they are on pedestals?
Hello,
Just purchased an Electrolux front load washer a month ago. Its on the main floor on vinyl flooring and on a pedestal. Despite being balanced and adjusted by the Electrolux tech it still rocks/shakes while trying to achieve full spin which is only set at MEDIUM. The shipping bolts are out. Because of the significant shaking I am not comfortable using High spin so my clothes are more wet. It does this with sheets, all clothing, small load or big loads. The machine struggles to go to spin and it takes many attempts. As soon as it shakes too much it stops trying to spin and will try to balance the clothes again by shifting them around. 5 mins left in the cycle ends up taking an extra 20 mins. The tech told me that it is probably because it is on a pedestal but he couldn't say for certain. Is this to be expected? TIA
