Hot take: Meyrl's death ending in MGS1 seems like a better ending (theatrically)

Just in my opinion, I did a blind playthrough of mgs1, got the "bad ending" first, and actually liked it more as an ending than the good one... Does anyone feel the same, or am I just weird for liking the bad one more (even if it isn't cannon)
