Before he became Dr. McSteamy on "Grey's Anatomy", actor Eric appeared as a doctor named Wyatt Cooper on the short-lived ABC television series "Gideon's Crossing"

6 years before his star making turn as Dr. Mark "Steamy" Sloan on "Grey's Anatomy", Eric Dane played a medical doctor named Wyatt Cooper on "Gideon's Crossing", which ran from 2000 to 2001. What funny enough is that both "Gideon's Crossing" and "Grey's Anatomy" aired on ABC.
