If you’ve used your 529 plan at a trade school, or a non-traditional college, how was your experience?

I’ll be starting a college fund for my kid soon and am looking at all of the various options. I like the 529 and am curious about how easy/difficult it is to use it to pay for trade schools rather than a 4 year university.
