Pending Lawsuit GM

This morning during my work commute, my Super Cruise feature was having an issue. I decided to call OnStar from my vehicle. The agent refused to help me stating that there is an open case against GM and they are not allowed to provide any support. She asked me to visit the dealership. Seems a bit ridiculous that they are blocking me from OnStar services??
