I think I stayed in an anti's Discord Server
Less than a week ago I discovered there was a discord server of a ship I liked a lot, so I decided to request an invitation.
It got accepted and I was happy. Turns out everyone there spoke my mother language, so I must admit that made me even more happy. However, that vanished a bit once I read the rules and they forbid and I quote "any proship content".
That bothered me, but, foolish me, I decided to ignore it and remained there. However, soon I came across the second thing I disliked. They were bashing against other ship a bit here and there. It wasn't my favourite ship they were critizing, but I still disliked that type of behaviour. Many of the people inside that server were minors, so I attribute part of it to their immaturity.
However, last night, I decided to talk with one of the server's admins and I asked them if with them forbidding any proship content they meant forbidding any antiharrasment content. Their response? They meant "problematic ships" because, that was, according to them, what proshipping meant.
I showed them what proship really meant, but I don't think they were really listening. Not that it surprised me; I was kinda expecting that. I then asked if that server could be considered anti and they avoided answering me, but that action was the last confirmation I was expecting.
I left that server not long after that conversation. But I feel like I should have taken that decision much sooner.
