How to deal with a family member who ‘tambays’ in your cafe almost everyday?

First time business owner and I just opened a small cafe. I hired some family members and they are efficient in their roles naman. I particularly hired my sister (experienced cook) to build a good foundation in the kitchen. Dahil starting palang, I always go to the cafe later in the day to help and manage (I have personal work as well).

But my other sister (non-employee) tambays at the cafe almost everyday. After her work and even almost the whole day during the weekends. This honestly frustrates me, she consumes ‘little’ amounts of drinks and since nasa cafe sya, included na din sya pag dinner and even take home drinks. She would help sometimes yes, but most of the time nagce-cellphone lang sya. And she never ordered lol.

Gets naman na she’s facing difficulties ngayon sa buhay and maybe just wanna lessen the burden sa gastusin. We’re not well-off and even ako is struggling. But I feel like if I keep allowing her to do this she would never stop and see boundaries. Added expenses din yun, kasi she even charges her phone and laptop at the cafe.

Also I don’t even wanna sound mean, but I feel like what she’s doing is making the business’ image deteriorate. I always wonder what our repeat customers think if they see her everyday and she’s not even an employee 🥲

I tried talking to her before na i-limit yung pagtambay sa cafe. Nag lie-low sya dun but umuulit na naman. She doesn’t take it very lightly at feeling nya pinapalayas ko sya.
