Can I split a 50mg pill if I’m meant to move up dosage but lost the 25mgs?

There’s a score line on the pill and my GP said it’s fine but my psychiatrist said I need to get 25mgs.

I go online and there’s conflicting info everywhere.

honestly I thought asking the patient community would be the best bet…
