A gratitude post for industrial machinery and the tech that makes our daily lives possible

Honestly, one of the things I am grateful for is technology and the introduction of industrial machinery. A lot of processes, chores, and tasks have all been simplified by this great act of technological advancement. Things that could have taken days to finish up or even weeks can be achieved in minutes. Hearing about how difficult it was to do little things like traveling from one city to another or even calling a friend or loved one makes me even more appreciative of this era.

I know there are lots of downsides to technology right now, but we can’t overlook the benefits it has offered us. Just try to imagine what life would be like if you didn’t have your mobile phone to easily access information. I think the part that gets overlooked is how this has affected the quality of life across all strata of life. It’s not just in big industries but in everyday situations too. Household appliances, power tools, farming equipment, and manufacturing tech. Everything has quietly improved the way people live and work without most of us stopping to acknowledge it.

These days, even simple tasks such as sourcing and purchasing items can now be done online with platforms such as Alibaba, Amazon, and others. So yeah! I’m glad to be here at this point in time!
