Idols part 2 similarities

just listened to idols pt2 all the way through.

'I need you' is just beautiful.

'the postman' gives serious 'lovesick lullaby' vibes.

'time' honestly can't describe it. its just perfect.

"war pt2' is fighting to win favourite against 'war pt1' (probs my current faves)

'blueberry hill' the ending is 'change' continuation. also gives beatles vibes. listening to it actually transported me back to living in liverpool and doing the Beatles tour.

'suburban requiem' sounds a little like 'bittersweet symphony' towards the end.

long story short, they're all a masterpiece. such beautiful, and funny, imagery given by the songs. I could listen to them forever 😍
