What is the standard thickness of terrain at most tournaments? (whether UKTC, GW or WTC)

Basically I'm trying to show someone (mostly just to make a point) it's actually physically impossible to screen out 28mm models if the thickness of terrain is 5mm or less with math even if I might not use it in games.
