Heavy Slack and email users: would voice replace typing if it actually worked reliably?

Question

I’m curious about something.

Most of my day is:

• Writing emails
• Responding in Slack
• Editing docs
• Scheduling meetings

Typing and switching apps takes a surprising amount of mental energy.

If voice input:
– Removed filler words
– Fixed grammar automatically
– Could edit highlighted text
– Could trigger actions like sending an email or creating a meeting

Would you consider using voice as your primary interface?

If not, what is the biggest blocker?
Accuracy? Privacy? Social awkwardness? Speed?

Genuinely interested in how power users think about this.
