Relocating to KL with family - seeking advice on schools, condos, and commuting

TL;DR:

Moving to KL with my husband and two kids (12 & 6). Husband will work in TTDI. We’re considering Sayfol International School and a 3BR condo in Jalan Ampang. No car for now — relying on train/Grab.

Questions for locals:

1. How practical is commuting from Ampang to TTDI daily?

2. Thoughts on Sayfol and any alternative schools for kids in Year 7 and Year 2?

3. Tips for finding a family-friendly condo, and negotiating parking fees if unused?

4. Better neighborhoods near TTDI for families with children?

5. Any other advice for families starting fresh in KL?
