Getting married next Thursday… and it suddenly feels too real

Next Thursday I’m getting married.

Chala strange ga undi… like next week ee time ki I’ll be in my husband’s house. Writing that itself feels unreal.

Do all girls feel this way before marriage? Or is it just me?

The funny thing is… naku emotions express cheyadam raadu. I don’t show it much. I act normal. I attend meetings, I talk, I smile. But today, in the middle of a meeting, I randomly opened my calendar… saw the date… and suddenly eyes lo nunchi water ochayi. Just like that.

It’s not sadness exactly. It’s not fear. I don’t even know what this feeling is.

Next week, I’ll belong somewhere else too. That shift feels so big.
