I couldn't find a good app to track hockey stats and get tactical feedback, to see why one get benched and se things that coaches maybe miss. so I built my own with an AI Coach. Looking for feedback!

Hey guys,

I’ve always been frustrated by how hard it is for beer leaguers and amateur players to figure out what to actually improve between games. Unless you have a dedicated video coach, it's mostly just guessing.

I code a bit on the side, so I built a small web-tool for myself. The idea is simple: you have a buddy on the bench, an injured teammate, or a parent in the stands tap the buttons during your shifts (successful passes, turnovers, defensive positioning, etc.) and it calculates a "Hockey IQ" impact score.

Recently, I managed to hook it up to an AI model to see if it could read my stats and give me tactical feedback. Surprisingly... it actually gives really good advice on what to focus on for the next period.

I want to see if the AI's hockey knowledge holds up for other playstyles, or if it's just biased towards my stats.

Since Reddit is strict about self-promotion, I won't drop any links here. But if anyone has a game or practice coming up and wants to help me test the AI logic for free, drop a comment or shoot me a DM and I’ll send you the link to the tool!

What stats do you guys think are the absolute most important to track for individual performance?
