Looking for a good PT in North County SD

Hi!

I live in Carlsbad, but I am able to drive to wherever in SD County to find a good PT who works with athletes, especially runners. I was a high level runner hoping to break 3 in the marathon and now I am sidelined with a torn meniscus. I am going to try rehab before submitting to surgery as I am fairly young and want to preserve longterm knee health.

I want someone who works with athletes to find the root cause and return to sport, not just gives the same exercises I can find on the internet. I don't have great insurance but would prefer to pay out of pocket, I find those type of clinics give you more time with the PT rather than just passing you off to students/aides.

Any help/assistance/advice is appreciated! :)
