Am I crazy for exchanging our Purple mattress for a different brand?

We purchased a King Restore Premier cool touch 13” hybrid from Mattress Firm. Had it for 3 months and my husband likes it but it is too firm for me.

I am a side sleeper and I toss and turn. I’m 5’5 and fluctuate in weight 160 to 180 lbs so I’m not a huge person but obviously not a skinny one. It felt much softer in the store but when we went back to chose a different mattress they told me the bed in the store is more broken in. I’m going with the Beautyrest series 3 black plush pillowtop. Mattress Firm says it has more support than Purple.
