Dachshund and bed climbing

Hello everyone.
I need help because I'm very anxious right now.

Basically I have a 8 month old dachshund and I love her so much. She is my first dog ever so I have a lot of anxieties. I triple check everything I can.

My husband and I bought a new bed and I was excited about it at first but now I'm just dreading it. It's a big bed, it's around 23 inches (58 cm) tall and my dog likes to sleep with me. I found the stairs to buy for her but now I'm just anxious that she will still jump off and hurt herself. We have an open space area so blocking the bed is not the best option. The bed still hasn't arrived but I still feel bad and nervous. I'm planning on training her to use the stairs.

I just need other people's opinions and experiences. Is this a really big deal or is my mind blowing it out of proportions? How should I feel, am I acting right?
