Vehicle damage: file a claim for a $2072 estimate?

We have a 2022 Hyundai Tucson premium hybrid AWD with 96k miles on it. Someone hit the car while it was parked and put a hole in the front bumper cover. I have a body shop estimate of $2072 to fix it.

Our insurance is Progressive and we have a $500 deductible. Location is NY. Previous claims: hail damage of ~10k+ in 2017, a ~3k claim in 2020.

Should we pay for this out of pocket or go through insurance? If we go through insurance, the car’s value will drop and we’d get less at trade in (or can I get diminished value from our own insurance company?) and the insurance rates may go up, but I have no way of knowing that or how much. I guess the question I’m trying to answer now is am I better off paying the extra 1500 up front or will the diminished value and insurance premium increases end up costing a more than a total of $1500. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
