Auto Insurance In NC

Genx dude, clean record, and boring car currently insured with "the geko" and fell like they've been bending me over the past couple years. Bought a new (to me) car last night and found out my premium will increase $500 per year so I'll be shopping around today and wanted to ask if anyone has the same experience and found better rates/coverage? TIA!
