Tile stains that just won’t come out, any tips?

Hi everyone

I’m really new to dealing with tile. In my old apartment we had laminate floors, and we barely ever saw any stains. This is our first place with actual tile, and I’m quickly realizing it’s a whole different game.

When we first moved in, I noticed some little stains, the most obvious being a shoe print right by the shower. I thought, “no big deal, I’ll just mop it when I can.”

Tried a Wet Jet, didn’t do anything. I thought maybe it wasn’t strong enough.

Then I tried a proper mop with hot water, 70% isopropyl alcohol, and dish soap. Still nothing. The stains are still there, plus some little ones that only show when the light hits them just right. It’s driving me insane.

I’m wondering if this is just normal for tile, or if there’s a better way to clean and protect it so this doesn’t keep happening. Someone recommended Tile Armor about sealing and maintaining tile, which seems like it could help, but I’m not sure where to start.

Does anyone have tips for stubborn tile stains or ways to protect tile from this kind of stuff in the future?
