Light Roast & French Press

So I want to try light roast in my french press. I need suggestions! My plan: Coffee: Blue Tokai Amaltas Blend Timemore C2: for dark I use 25-26 clicks, may be reduce it to 22 for light roast Increase water ratio from 1:15 for Dark to 1:18 Use boiling water and preheat tumbler! Overall use Hoffman method. Any suggestions? Will this give a good cup of light roast coffee? I am sceptical about buying a bag of light roast and the french press's ability to brew this. But the Hoffman video suggesting that immersion can perform better than percolation makes me wonder. I have never tried light roast before.
