Hello guys, I'm 28M from Brazil, and I'm planning to travel to Europe for the first time this year. I would love to hear the feedback from this sub about the itinerary, budget, places to visit, best neighbourhoods to stay at each city, and so on. Sorry for any english mistakes, it's not my first language.

TLDR:

  • 4 nights in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Prague and London, 3 nights in Berlin and Amsterdam
  • budget €3300 (low budget travelling, staying at my cousin's place in London, and in max beds rooms in hostels in other cities). Budget doesnt include ESIM, insurance and flight from Brazil.
  • not focused in visiting every attraction, want to walk a lot to feel the vibes of the cities and if possible, experience the night life

COMPLETE VERSION

ITINERARY

I know the planned itinerary may feel a little rushed, but please keep in mind that I'll probably not be visiting Europe again any time soon, so I want to experience it as much as possible. It's a trip that a planned a lot for and took a lot of saving (unfortunately I still earn in Reais).

Also, I don't want to visit every tourist attraction. The main objective of the trip is to feel the vibe of each city and explore the night life.

With that in mind, I'm open to changing the number of days in each city or maybe even excluding a city for the itinerary if you guys think it makes more sense.

Planning with current planned days (14/09 - 10/10):

14/09 - arrive in Madrid 12h - 3 nights in Madrid in first passage
17/09 - travel to Barcelona by train, arrive 14h20 - 4 nights in Barcleona
21/09 - travel to Paris by train or low budget flight - 4 nights in Paris
25/09 - travel to Amsterdam by train, arrive 13h45 - 3 nights in Amsterdam
28/09 - travel to Berlin by train, arrive 15h42 - 3 nights in Berlin
01/10 - travel to Prague by train, arrive 11h30 - 4 nights in Prague
05/10 - travel to London by low budget flight - 4 nights in London (staying at my cousin's place)
09/10 - travel to Madrid by low budget flight - 1 night in Madrid before leaving
10/10 - flight back to Brazil 11h50

BUDGET PLANNING

Total: €3300

Accommodation: ~€750 (will stay 22 nights in hostels, considering 35€/night as average)

Transportation (trains and intra-Europe flights): ~€400

  • Madrid -> Barcelona ~ €40
  • Barcelona -> Paris ~ €130 for trains, a little cheaper for flights
  • Paris -> Amsterdam ~ €40
  • Amsterdam -> Berlim ~ €50
  • Berlin -> Prague ~ €30
  • Prague -> London (flight) ~ €60
  • London -> Madrid (flight) ~ €50

Food:  ~€800 (considering €30/day as average, will be eating a lot of market food and in cheap restaurants)

Attractions entrances - ~€350 (right now I think the only places that pay entrance that I really want to visit is the Louvre and Sagrada Familia, so this budget could change with your suggestions).

Urban transportation (buses, metro, etc) - ~€200

Night life - ~€400 (will be trying to enter clubs with free entrance and drink beverages before bought from the market before going, buying one or two drinks max in the clubs itself)

Extra for emergencies - ~€400 (I have some more saved in Reais and a credit card that I could spend more €300 if it's a big emergency).

MY QUESTIONS

- Does the itinerary make sense?

- Is the budget realistic?

- In each of this cities, which neighborhoods would you recommend to stay and which to avoid? I already searched for hostels but would love to hear feedback from people that live or stayed in this cities. My main doubt is in what cities is worth to pay more to stay closer to city center, and which I could go by ok using public transportation or just walking to places from another neighborhood.

- What are the must-visits from each city? Attractions and neighborhoods worth to visit. I'm very interessed in history and architecture, but also would like to visit the bohemian/young/ alternative neighborhoods.

- Would love for recommendations of night life. I really like electronic music but also enjoy most music genres. I know I will be visiting very touristy places in a touristy season, but would like to visit places locals actually go to. Preferably, places that play local music. Don't want to go to clubs only playing American music. I willl be searching https://ra.co/ for events, is there a better source?

- Any other tip is welcome.
