Why do people use fitgirl instead of rutracker?

Hey guys, I'm from CIS. and I've been wondering why do people here use fitgirl if you already got rutracker that has been there for more than 20 years? I've seen a lot of people suggesting to download from there, or discussing about it. Does it has to do something with laws in your country? And yeah, I know that the whole site is in Russian, but there is a guide for English speaking community.I know that might be stupid question but I really want to know.
