How to "continue living my life"?

General Question

One month ago, I adopted a puppy and I am really happy. But I'm starting to get these thoughts that my "old life as I know it" is completely gone. Of course, getting a dog is a big change, I was totally aware of this going in. But most of my mental preparation was concentrated about the obligation to walk her 3-4 times a day, which is totally fine and I enjoy it. However, I didn't realize that a simple thing like going to the cinema was going to become problematic (most internet recommendation say not to ever leave your dog for more than ~4 hours). I have some plans for this year, standard things like music concerts etc, and I'm starting to get anxious thinking I'll have to simply skip all of that.

I would never ever consider giving her away or anything like that. She's my little best buddy now, and will be for as long as she lives. I'm just asking for advice on how to continue living my old life.

Does it get easier? How do people manage to make everything work? Of course there's no magical answer here, I guess I just need some reassurance that "normal life" is indeed possible. I'm hoping to make her comfortable with staying alone, combined with finding a sitter that can jump in from time to time when necessary.
