Reintroducing Cannabis After a T-Break — Looking for Balanced, Harm-Reduction Advice
Hey everyone,
I took a two-month tolerance break after realizing my cannabis use had become unhealthy. My grandma passed away after a long battle with cancer, and during that time I was smoking heavily as a coping mechanism — skipping meals, waking up to smoke, finishing 2g live resin carts in a couple days. It wasn’t sustainable.
I’m a professional dancer, and I do find cannabis can help with creativity, recovery, and winding down — but I want a completely different relationship with it now.
My plan:
Night use only
Strict limits
Make one purchase last 1–2 months
Lean toward balanced or higher CBD options instead of high-THC
I’m considering vape pens for control and discretion, but I want to be mindful about lung health and product quality (lab-tested only).
For those who’ve successfully reset their relationship with cannabis:
What products or ratios worked best for you?
Any tips to prevent slipping back into heavy use?
Are CBD-dominant vapes actually helpful for nighttime relaxation?
Appreciate any thoughtful advice. Trying to approach this intentionally instead of emotionally this time.
