Is anyone else pissed at the change in Solo Battle rewards?

Sorry if this discourse has already been had.

I’m not a whale so I relied heavily on solo battles to get hourglasses. You could walk away from the expert battles with 40 or so hourglasses usually, and it always felt worth it. And, if I needed 2 hourglasses to open a pack, I usually had a starter battle saved up. Now that you can only get 12 on the first battle of advanced and expert, DeNA has dramatically reduced your free hourglass intake. The only reason for me to battle now is for the love of the game, and I’ve been losing a lot of my love for the game atp. I mean I guess I could go for shop tickets but it can only take me through a limited pool of hourglasses anyway. Seems like such a lame way to force us to pay for gold. I really thought this was gonna be a different gacha, but obviously I was being a fool.
