Overlapping SLE and Scleroderma

Newly Diagnosed

Hi guys. I was recently diagnosed with overlapping Lupus and Scleroderma. I don't have any organ damage or inflammation, but I've been experiencing a reoccuring rash on my cheek since 2023, and muscle pain in my quads ever since I got the flu in 2024. This year (2025), I got Chilblains for the first time on my feet (aka Covid Toes), which caused my dermatologist to order bloodwork and ultimately led me to this diagnosis. I am scared to start hydroxycloroquine and be on medication for the rest of my life. I think the cold and infections are the biggest triggers for me. Anyone have experience with this overlap and/or Medical Medium/AIP? I'm working on acceptance but would appreciate anyone's input and experience.
