Does tracing basic details of a car from a photo (not drawing) of a car count as stealing someone else’s artwork?

I designed a poster for my room. I traced the main parts of the 2022 McLaren F1 car because the car is really detailed and I wanted to get the shape right. posted the video on YouTube and someone is now accusing me of stealing someone else’s artwork and not actually designing what I spent 2 hours on because I traced parts of the car. (only the body and tires, no sponsors, no fine details). I’m wondering if this is really stealing even though it was a photo off of Google that I used for the base of the car.
