Job

I’ve been working nights at a hospital for 14 years, past three I’ve worked at two hospitals. (60hr weeks for 3 yrs) I applied to a position in hospital A and I checked off all the boxes, I’m amazing with the units (day and night, clean record and knowledgeable) 4 months ago(day shift position). I was certain the environment at Hospital B was causing me incredible stress/migraines and the ethics didn’t align with critical common sense so I quit. The manager for the new position made me feel I got it and for me to even tell my manager (btw, he’s her manager) I didn’t feel right about it just yet so I waited…and waited… sent an email…nothing.

Got the official call that they went with an outside candidate.

I know this happens daily, I just wanted to vent a bit because I’m depressed and I’m starting to hurt. :(
