I Feel Very Strongly About The Change To "Fortification"
As somebody with a lot of hours into Stellaris I cannot understand the desire to rename Unyielding to Fortification. I'm less bothered by Mercantile to Commerce but it feels like a needless change.
It's not my favorite tradition, and not something that I "love" but I cannot get over taking something that is cool and evokes the spirit of a empire and changing it to a wall or tower. Despite Stellaris having generally good writing it's really at odds with everything I love about the game. I expanded on my thoughts before work today on the link below but basically I can sum it up like this for a discussion:
-
Why? What do you, the sickos(admiring) in the reddit stellaris community, think the matching name structure of all other traditions is? Has this been outlined and I missed it?
-
Why shouldn't Aptitude be renamed Leaders, Statecraft to Ruling Council, Politics to Galactic Council, Enmity to Rivals, Supremacy to Fleets, or Subterfuge to System That Isn't Implemented?
