Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres Cabana and Daybed Rentals

I wanted to share some information that may be useful to others considering this resort. I've used this sub quite a bit in my research so I'm hoping I can reciprocate with some info!

My wife and I (35/39) are staying at Excellence Coral PM in late March, and in advance of our stay I inquired about cabanas and daybeds on the beach and pool. It's my bday trip so we're splurging, even though it feels a bit ridiculous given the range of seating options at the beach/pool. What follows is the exact response (quoted in italics below) that I received from the hotel with specific pricing for various options. If we end up booking one or both of these I'll report back with our experience following the trip.

For the Seaside Cabanas*, here are the options available:*

• *Option 1*: A comfortable setup with cushions, food, and beverage service.* Cost: $90 USD
• *Option 2: Includes everything from Option 1, plus a 20-minute reflexology massage. Cost: $120 USD You may choose either:
  • One person enjoys the full 20-minute massage Or,
  • Both guests receive a 10-minute massage each

Both options are available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are located on the beach. If you're looking for more privacy, we recommend Cabana 4 or 5, located on the north side of the hotel. If you prefer to stay closer to the main areas, Cabana 1 or 2 would be ideal. Here I attached a map that I created, where you can see the location of all the seaside cabanas (Fig 1).

The daily rate for this experience is $100 USD and it is available from 9 am to 5 pm
