Will it be a mistake to opt for paper check instead after they sent the digital card to my email?

I have 4 claims in. Got first refund as a digital card to my email a few days ago. I was expecting a physical card in mail. Email says I can opt for check instead but it’ll take 4-6 weeks. Just wondering if anyone did this and if it just creates potential for more delays beyond their estimated time it takes?
