If you went to college for art how was it, and how have you used it since?

:chat: Just Chatting

I want to go to college but I've been debating on what I want to major in, Ive always loved the arts so thats one of my main ideas. I love drawing, "sculpting" (paper mache), and music/writing. I have such a deep passion for the arts and I sometimes find it hard to imagine myself pursuing anything else but I know its not easy to make stable money as an artist.

I just don't know if this is something I could take to a career,

-I've thought about going into tattooing because I love the idea of helping people find themselves and heal through it

-I've thought about going into theater/music writing because i adore music and its one of the purest forms of self expresion

-I've even thought about making props for cosplayers and movie sets because that just seems fun.

I also keep second guessing it because I know the pros and cons of all of those.

I'm just looking for input from people who have pursued the arts. Is it worth it? Why or why not? I have other ideas for future careers but I'm just clueless and my family just isnt any help.
