# La Tanda Chain — Cosmos SDK testnet live, looking for node operators

Hey everyone,

We've been building a fintech platform in Honduras (rotating savings groups, marketplace, lottery) and just launched our own Cosmos SDK chain on testnet.

Genesis node is producing blocks and we're looking for people to run full nodes and eventually become validators.

**The basics:**

- Chain ID: `latanda-testnet-1`

- Cosmos SDK v0.53.6 / CometBFT

- ~5s blocks, 200M LTD fixed supply (0% inflation)

- Full node runs on any $5/month VPS (2 CPU, 4GB RAM)

**Validator timeline:**

- Phase 1 (now): Full nodes welcome

- Phase 2 (Q3-Q4 2026): Expanding to 5-10 validators

This isn't a whitepaper-only project — the platform is live with 140+ endpoints, wallets, KYC, social feed, and an AI assistant already serving users. The chain is the next step: moving core logic to native Cosmos modules.
