What are the best Alpha Strike faction unit lists in your opinion?

I've been playing Alpha Strike for the past nearly two months now and it's been a lot of fun for sure. My local group usually runs either Wolfnet 350 PV scenarios for our games, but they've been utilizing a format for an upcoming local tournament that is 400 PV with a couple other restrictions. Can't think of them all off the top of my head, but the main ones that stick out for me is ilClan Era and we use units from whatever faction lists are available for that Era. In my case, I've been running units from the Mercenary faction and have had mixed success, mainly because I'm still learning the game in general and learning how the scenarios work. I know that some forces put together can dominate some scenarios while they won't be worth a shit in others. What I was curious about is whether I should give another faction list a try and if so, which one would be ideal?
