42 [M4F] #Michigan, Grand Rapids area - we want the same thing, we just need to find eachother

I'm hoping to find someone local or within a reasonable distance to GR. A mutual connection is very important to me. Obviously we don't need to share every detail of our lives, but knowing you as a person helps when things hopefully move forward. I am not looking for a change in situation. Ultimately I want to share with you the parts of me I keep hidden from those around me.

I am educated, a professional with a job that has inconsistent hours, it provides great flexibility with proper planning, but I am not a 9 to 5er. It's a blessing and a curse in this lifestyle as it gives me freedom but could make things difficult depending on your schedule or it could be exactly what you need. I'm often on my phone a lot for work so I typically have the ability to text off and on easily throughout the day.

I'm willing to put the effort in to make something work with the right person. I just ask that you are too. And to be transparent, I'm 5'10, I have a "dad bod" but I'm not obese, I am a former college athlete. Little gray in the hair, lotta gray in the goatee. The salt and pepper look.

I assume you get this too, but it's incredibly hard to get to know someone off an "ad" alone. I'm just trying to be honest and set the stage for conversation. I'm an enneagram 5... if that helps? And I like to read and I dabble in writing, hence the name.
