For about six years, my friends and I had a little tradition of running Hotring Circuit races every few months. We’d get 6 to 8 of us together and run a 16-race circuit for a couple hours. It was simple and caught on in our group because everyone has GTA of course, so it was very accessible. Then Rockstar removed all of the official Hotring Circuit races a while back.

When I found out they were just gone one day with no real justification or explanation, it was crushing, because this was something that really brought our group together over the years. We had so much fun playing these, as well as some of the adversary modes like Offense Defense and Hunting Pack, two of our other favorites which were also randomly and arbitrarily removed way back.

Since then, we have had to create all of our own Hotring Tracks and/or rely on community tracks (many of which are amazing).

But recently I found something interesting while browsing the Social Club jobs.

There are multiple Hotring Circuit tracks uploaded by users that look almost identical to the original Rockstar-created ones, which you can see in the attached photos.

Same names.
Same layouts.
Very similar descriptions.
Even what looks like the official-style thumbnails.

And interestingly, they all seem to be races added as part of the 2023 update specifically, as I was unable to find any of the original San Andreas Super Sport Series races that were added in 2018.

Examples I found:

* Hotring Circuit – Sandy Shores
* Hotring Circuit – Waterway
* Hotring Circuit – Arcadius
* Hotring Circuit – Palmer-Taylor
* Hotring Circuit – Bolingbroke Bowl

So now I’m just genuinely curious:

How was this done? I’m hoping someone here understands how this works technically.

Were these:

* Meticulously rebuilt in Creator?
* Saved/bookmarked before Rockstar delisted them?
* Reconstructed somehow using job IDs?
* Or is there some Social Club behavior that allows “archived” jobs to stick around?

I’m certainly not mad about it, in fact I'm ecstatic that some of them seem to still exist. I just don’t understand how.

If there are more preserved Rockstar jobs out there, especially Hotring Circuit races, I’d love to know. It would be awesome if there’s some kind of community archive I’m unaware of.

Would really appreciate insight from anyone who understands the job system or backend quirks.

**And if anyone from Rockstar is reading, can you please just add the Hotring Circuit races back in permanently? They don't have to be in matchmaking, just access to them is all my friends and I are asking for. The new game is coming out in 8 months; will it really hurt to accommodate the community until then? Thank you.**

How did someone re-upload these removed Rockstar Hotring Circuit races? Are there more preserved?
