Sweet rice?

So, bought what I thought was jasmine for some spicy basil chicken fried rice yesterday. Instead got a bunch of sweet rice. What can I do with this? Is it out of the question to use it like regular rice and eat it with kimchi n pork etc? Or practically purely a dessert rice?
