Hotels Downtown Austin for May weekend

Coming down in May for a graduation (ceremony is in Taylor). I’ll be in Thursday–Sunday and figured instead of bouncing around suburbs, I’d grab a solid spot downtown so friends/family can come hang out.

Budget is $300–500/night.

Looking for: – Walkable – Good bars/restaurants – More 40s vibe than bachelor party circus – Not insanely loud at 2am

Open to Downtown, SoCo, or anywhere that makes sense for being close to nightlife but not drowning in it.
