How to deal with parent wanting to meet/asking why you left?

Hello everyone,

First off - thank you guys so much. This entire estrangement thing is something I usually can't talk about because well, it's a strange thing little people can relate to, and talking to people who get it makes me feel less like a freak. I also have decided to finally deal with this and get my thoughts together, so I might post more on here now.

Also I'm sorry for nearly violating the rules of the subs so I'm really sorry to the mods! It didn't hit me that he was threatening, the words used in German are quite different. Thank you for understanding and being lenient.

My questions to everyone:

1. Have you guys actually ever told your parents why you estranged? When did you do it and how? Why didn't you?
2. Did you ever meet with the parent after estrangement? How did that go and why did you decide to?
