Just finished *Firebreak* on Netflix and that ending really sticks with you. Most of the movie builds Santiago up as a potential predator, but the finale completely flips the script.

The most interesting part for me was the **Bear metaphor**. Santiago tells the police he was attacked by a bear, effectively protecting the people who kidnapped and assaulted him.

In our latest deep dive, we look at the three layers of the bear:

1. **Lide’s Bear:** The "monster" she was running from (which might just be her mother’s grief).
2. **Santiago’s Bear:** The "Mama Bear" instinct that explains why Mara and Luis lost their humanity.
3. **The Real Bear:** The one walking through the fire at the end—a symbol of nature simply surviving the chaos.

What did you make of the "Fire Lily" at the end? Does it mean Mara is finally ready to grow from the ashes of her husband’s death?
