ADC as new player

Started playing LoL a couple weeks ago. I started out playing ADCs (I rotate between 2 champs) in bot games and swiftplay, and decided to spam drafts until I get better. No matter what I do I encounter teammates who flame me despite the obviousness that I am a new player based on the way I play and also my stats, eg. ‘can I get a new adc’ ‘wtf adc’, constant ‘?’ pings, etc. Today I had a support completely give up on me 5 seconds into the game and then abandon me for the rest of the game to ‘help’ mid. I get if it was a ranked match but can people not chill out in norms like it’s really not that deep. In one game I stated in chat that I was new and the response was ‘don’t play ADC then.’

I want to keep playing to get better at playing the role but I wonder if I’m making a mistake and if I should start out with other lanes. Is this normal or am I just abnormally terrible???
