22-year-old React Developer with 1+ Year Experience — No Degree Yet, Struggling to Switch Jobs

Hey guys,

My name is Sunil Gupta. I’m a 22-year-old React developer from Mumbai. I was pursuing my BSc in Computer Science from a Mumbai University–affiliated college, but I had to drop out in my second year. My parents don’t know about it yet.

Despite that, I managed to get a job as a Frontend Developer, and now I have 1+ year of professional experience. I genuinely believe my development and problem-solving skills are stronger than many of my classmates. Now I want to switch to a better opportunity, but I’m facing a major issue — almost every company is asking for a completed degree. I still need about one more year to finish it. What should I do in this situation? Should I wait and complete my degree first, or is there another way to approach job switching without a degree?
