Most of YouTube is just for the rich to subtle brag about being rich

I've unsubscribed from sooo many channels lately that just seem to be following the Ryan Trahan trend of "this is how poor people travel vs how us RICH people do it", but without remembering to have the fake humility. It's always "basic (poor people) travel vs $9000 train","Let's stay at EVERY hotel on the Vegas strip (but not really)". Then you get a following 40 video dump of "me at an airport", "me eating EVERY expensive food as I travel around". These channels weren't always travel channels either, they were full of weird ideas and now it's maybe 3 truly unique videos a year which is so frustrating to see.

Even most of the "creative" videos now are following Mia Maples style of "testing a $20 dress vs a $2,000 dress vs a $20,000 dress", "can an expensive Insta suggested dress ACTUALLY be good?". It's not original, there's no effort, but it'll sure get 8 million views anyway, so who cares?
