Major bracket suggestion

I believe a two group into a top 8 single elimination or hybrid bracket would be a great option for a major.

i think the groups work well and easy to follow but in a group with 4 teams is too cut throat. Swiss is a headache and harder to do seeding into your top 8.

2 groups yes you play a lot of games (56 depending on top 8 bracket. But id be happy for top 6 and with 1&2 having A break). as a team (7 each player) but it will find a good order and you have more chances of upsets or teams to catch up or some teams cement their finals. you can pick the important games to broadcast live, team streams can still happen.

it’s just more games and a big weekend.

give me reasons why It is a bad idea and I’ll try rebut.
