Initial sedation
Hey fellow mental health warriors,
I switched from dulxoetine (cymbalta) four days ago, and I immediately noticed, from day one, that I feel quite calm and sedated. It feels a bit like when I take an oxazepam. But also hungry, indifferent to things and slightly lazy. I didn’t ”feel” any difference straight from the beginning when switching from trintellix to duloxetine a few months ago, so I was surprised by this sudden calmness. My question is, will this go away? I’m honestly ambivalent to it. On one hand I feel very calm which is great, but on another, I worry this sedation is not very good getting used to when I one day would like to stop taking paroxetine. I take this for anxiety btw.
